- Exegetical study of 2 Corinthians, including attention to application
- Investigation of selected themes from the letter (including their contemporary implications for Christian living and Christian ministry) such as:
- apostleship and apostolicity,
- grace,
- authenticity and truth,
- holiness,
- conflict and reconciliation,
- hope,
- suffering,
- sorrow and joy,
- power and weakness,
- wisdom and folly,
- glory and shame.
