1. Identify the theological and social scientific foundations of intergenerational ministry.
2. Observe and Analyse a developmental ministry through the lens of intergenerational ministry
3. Present Analytical evidence-based perspectives on intergenerational ministry.
C. Be in a position to
Applying perspectives and skills from ‘Intergenerational Ministry’ to contemporary Christian living and ministry contexts.
Content
1. Theological foundations such as the theology of community, people of God, household of God, OT & NT practices of gathering and worship, gathering and worship of God’s people in historical perspective.
2. Social-scientific perspectives on discipleship, faith formation, church gathering, worship and community.
3. Intergenerational ministry as a whole church model.
4. The place and practice of children’s and youth ministry in an intergenerational church.
5. The place and practice of family ministry in an intergenerational church.
6. Intergenerational ministry for young adults, singles, couples, broken and blended households and seniors.
