21 September 2018New Directors Added to the ACT Board
The Australian College of Theology is pleased to announce that four new members have
been appointed to the Board of Directors in accordance with the constitution, effective 17
September 2018, bringing the total membership to 11 directors.
The high-calibre governance team now includes:
- Professor Anne Abraham, higher education and financial consultant and (until earlier
this year) Professor (Accounting), Polytechnic Institute Australia, Sydney and Adjunct
Professor (Accounting), School of Business, Western Sydney University; - Professor Phil Dolan, formerly Acting Pro Vice Chancellor and Professor, College of
Arts, Social Sciences and Commerce, La Trobe University (retired end-August 2018) and
previously Dean and Professor, School of Business, University of Western
Australia; - Rev Dr Theresa Lau, Curriculum Planning Director & eLearning Coordinator,
Melbourne School of Theology; and - Professor Roger Lewis, Senior Professor and Associate Dean, Research, Faculty of
Engineering and Information Sciences, University of Wollongong.
Interim Chair, Mr Greg Hammond, noted that the new directors bring a wealth of
experience and knowledge in the higher education, business, and finance arenas, and the
ACT looks forward to their contribution on the renewed board as plans for a robust future
for the ACT and its affiliated colleges are shaped.
