Content
This unit examines issues in Covenant Theology from a selection of six topics from those listed below. Level 9 students must include at least four emerging issues, such as: Subordination of the Son; Federal Vision; New covenant theology; The new perspective on Paul; Assurance and introspectivity; Sacraments.
1. The current status of Covenant Theology
2. Trinitarian theology and the Covenant of Redemption
3. Federal theology and Adam
4. Creation theology and Noah
5. Soteriology and the Abrahamic covenant
6. Justification, law and merit and the Mosaic covenant
7. Central paradigms and the Kingdom of the Davidic covenant
8. New covenant realisation
