Content
- The strategic Biblical, theological and practical importance of forming, training, mentoring others in effective ministries.
- Shaping expectations and structures of ministry to train faithful people to equip, form, and mentor others in ministry.
- Train faithful people to train others as: preachers, evangelists, youth and children’s workers, church planters, pastoral workers, Bible study leaders, leaders for discussion current issues, and evangelistic initiatives
- The role of preaching, mentoring and training new preachers, planning a preaching program, the purpose of public Bible reading, and integrating sermons and Bible studies.
- Training leaders for the present and the future to serve God in the church and in the world.
- Understanding culture, and training in cross cultural ministry.
- Principles of education, formation, and training.
Structure:
- Standard format of 3 hours class contact per week over 13 weeks
- Distance (online) mode that includes all or some of the following: weekly online discussions/tutorials, teleconferences, and on-campus sessions
