4. The Hebrew text of selected chapters of Daniel.

6. A selection of historic and contemporary interpretations of the book of Daniel.

1. Old Testament apocalyptic (its origin, development and theology) with special reference to the theology of the book of Daniel.
2. Translation and exegesis of the Hebrew text of Daniel 1:1–2:4, 8–10, 12 (or comparable passages).
