Section A: Understanding the theology of wisdom literature:
Module 1: The unique features of wisdom literature
Module 2: The relationship of wisdom literature to the rest of the OT
Module 3: The relationship of the wisdom literature of Israel to the ANE
Module 4: The presentation of God in each book
Module 5: The way human life is viewed in each book
Module 6: The way the deed-consequence relationship is understood in each book
Section B: Application: Preaching wisdom literature
Module 7: The understanding and application of Proverbs
Module 8: The hermeneutical issues in understanding wisdom literature
Module 9: How to preach wisdom literature, especially Job and Ecclesiastes
Module 10: How Proverbs, Job, and Ecclesiastes relate to Christ
