Content
- Recent research on the formation of the Book of the Twelve and the implications for reading the individual books that comprise it.
- The contribution of each of the books to the message of the Book of the Twelve.
- Key theological themes across the Book of the Twelve, such as: covenant; repentance; the “Yahweh creed”; Jerusalem / Zion; the foreign nations; the Day of the Lord; the Messiah.
- Exegesis of select passages and/or shorter books from the Book of the Twelve (these must not overlap with what students have studied in their undergraduate courses).
- How to preach a series on selected books from the Book of the Twelve, including Christian application.
