Content
The content of the course will include the following:
- Background to the Hadith – why they are necessary
- Collections of the hadith
- Problems with the Hadith including the Qur’an-only movement
- Sharia and The Hadith
- Allah in the Hadith compared with God in the Bible
- Muhammad in the Hadith compared with prophets in the Bible
- Jesus in the Hadith compared with Jesus in the Bible
- Women in the Hadith compared with women in the Bible
- War, violence & peace in the Hadith compared with these topics in the Bible
- Science in the Hadith
- Politics and Human Rights compared with these topics in the Bible
- Using the Hadith in Christian ministry
