Content
Topics include:
1. Morphology
2. Syntax
3. Basic phonology
4. Orthography issues
5. Basic introduction to semantics, to enable students to appreciate differences in the lexicon of a target language
6. Introduction to discourse and pragmatics to enable students to understand language in a variety of contexts and for a variety of purposes
