Diploma of Theology (Pathway 1)
Summary of changes
From 2020, all three undergraduate diplomas are the same length – one year full-time equivalent study at Level 5. The DipTh can be studied through the completion of 8 units of 12 credit points each (150 student demand hours each), or the completion of just two units at 12 credit points (150 hours each) and 9 units of 8 credit points each (100 student demand hours each), or a mix of the two.
Transition arrangements
No special transition arrangements are required for existing students. All existing credit achieved by existing students will be multiplied by three to transition to the new credit point structure.
Some students may be eligible to graduate with the new course structure immediately at the start of 2020 without further study. Students should contact their primary college Registrar to discuss potential eligibility to graduate, or complete the enquiry form below.
