Combined Advanced Diploma of Theology / Ministry (Pathway 1)
Summary of changes
From 2020, the Combined AdvDipTh/Min is being discontinued, with no further unit enrolments in this course after 31/12/2019.
Transition arrangements
- Students will be transferred into either an Associate Degree or Bachelor Degree (or another undergraduate course) depending on the student’s choice, and appropriateness of units already taken by 31/12/2019. Given the limited number of students in this course, college Registrars should discuss each student on a case-by-case basis with the ACT Registrar to determine the best outcome for the students. Students transitioning to another course will be given extra concession regarding the unit field requirements of the new course at the discretion of the ACT Registrar so that they are not disadvantaged by the removal of the course.
- All existing credit achieved by existing students will be multiplied by three to transition to the new credit point structure, available for transfer into another undergraduate course. The BMin course outline is available below, but students are advised to contact their Registrar who will work together with ACT staff to find the best alternative course for the student. In the majority of cases, students will be eligible for a more prestigious qualification than originally anticipated for the completion of the same number of units as initially anticipated.
