Learning outcomes
On successful completion of this unit, students willA. Know and understand
- A selected topic/problem/issue in Theology/Ministry/Christian Studies/Missional Leadership
- The essential research principles and methods used in the field of study under specific investigation
B. Be able to
- Identify a topic/issue/problem suitable for independent investigation at this level
- Define the purpose of the investigation
- Devise a method for achieving the purpose of the investigation
- Develop a body of resources to utilise in carrying out the investigation
- Carry out the investigation
- Present a report on the application of the method and its results
C. Be in a position to
- Investigate topics/problems/issues in Theology/Ministry as a reflective practitioner
- Undertake research at a higher level
Content
Students will select a topic for investigation in consultation with a supervisor in their college.
Set Readings
Students will develop a list of resources as part of the execution of the project.
