The course is designed to advance the scholarly enhancement of ministerial practice by means of learning, reflection, and research integrated with the student’s experience in his or her ministry context,
The goals of the course are to (i) facilitate a professional, advanced understanding of the nature and purposes of Christian ministry at the highest level, (ii) enhance competencies in the analysis of ministerial and professional skills and to integrate these dimensions into a theologically reflective practice, (iii) foster new knowledge about the practice of ministry, and (iv) encourage continued growth in spiritual maturity. Programs may be designed to advance the general practice of ministry in its many forms or to advance expertise in a specialised area of ministerial practice (e.g., cross-cultural ministry, church planting, pastoral care, preaching, missions),
